Perugia, August 9, 2021 – Serie C Championship 2021/2022 – Group Composition: Biancorosse in Group A

The Women’s Football Department of the LND has announced the number of clubs that will participate in the Serie C Championship of the 2021/2022 Sport Season, which has come to be determined to the extent of 48. The new Women’s Serie C thus switches to the new format with three rounds of sixteen teams each. The girls of President Valentina Roscini have been included in the group A where there will also be Ternana. In the coming days the composition of the technical staff will be made official.

Awaiting the calendars of the 2021/2022 championship, which kicks off next October 10, here is the composition of the groupings into which the forty-eight participating clubs have been divided:

Group A: Arezzo, Azalee Solbiatese, Città di Pontedera, Caprera, Fiamma Monza, Genoa, Independiente Ivrea, Lucchese, Orobica Calcio Bergamo, Pavia Academy, Perugia, Pinerolo, Pistoiese, Spezia, Real Meda, Ternana;

Group B: Atletico Oristano, Bologna, Brixen Obi, Isera, Jesina, Mittici, Padova, Permac Vittorio Veneto, Portogruaro, Riccione, SPAL, Trento, Triestina, Venezia, Vicenza, Vis Civitanova;

Group C: Aprilia Racing, Apulia Trani, Catania, Chieti, Crotone, E.Coscarello Castrolibero, Fesca Bari, Formello, Independent, Lecce Women, Match Point Matera, Pescara, Res Women, Roma XIV Decimoquarto, Sant’Egidio, Trastevere.
