Perugia, Feb. 16, 2021 – The FIGC Women’s Football Division has announced the postponement to a date to be determined of the SS Lazio Women-AC Perugia Calcio match for the 3rd return day of the Serie B championship, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 21.

The Grifoncelle, led by coach Luciano Mancini, will return to the field after a long stop only on Sunday, Feb. 28, for the home match against Cesena.

Striker Lucrezia Di Fiore tells the team’s state of mind this way:

“Although the situation is not the easiest, our mood is definitely high. Thanks to the negative result of the swabs, we have resumed training with serenity, and I think there is a positive side also in the postponement of the match on the 21st, which in any case will allow us to recover some players, previously stopped due to muscular problems. On the other hand, we cannot deny that the long stop to which we have been called has broken the right balance we had found in the last matches, made visible especially by the draw against Como. In any case, I am sure that we will not waste the work done so far and we will give our best to make the best out of this moment as well.”
