Rome, April 18, 2021 – The match of the 22nd day of the women’s Serie B championship that pitted the Giallorossi against Mancini’s girls ended with a score of 4-0 in favor of Roma.

In the first half, the home team immediately went ahead with Glaser ‘s goals in the 18′ and 41’. In the second half, however, the goals remained untouched until the last minutes of the second half where the Giallorossi managed to extend the distance in the 91′ with Martinez and again in the 94′ with Glaser who signed the hat trick that finally closed the match at 4-0.

POST RACE.

“Unfortunately, in addition to the high level of Roma’s offense-referscoach Luciano Mancini-we were also penalized by the absence of important players such as Elisabetta Tola, Beatrice De Monaco and Lucrezia Di Fiore in our squad. There is some regret for the heavy passive suffered in the last minutes for what we saw on the field but I have nothing to reproach the girls.”

The coach then dwelt on the potential of some of the very young players who took the field: “Today again we brought with us very young players who were able to express their abilities, beyond the result. Surely the growth they have gained from playing in such a high-level league will be a great asset for them in the future. Now it is important for us to keep our morale up and move forward trying to end this difficult season in a dignified manner.”

The very young Primavera team, led by coach Francesco Micheli, also ended Sunday with a 6-0 defeat away to Naples.
