Perugia, Oct. 17, 2021 – The challenge played today at the “R.Curi” antistadium ended 0-5 in favor of Pinerolo.
A match that starts immediately uphill for the Grifoncelle: just a minute and a half after the whistle blows, Pinerolo earns a free kick from the edge of the box and number 9, Levis, materializes a knockback in the penalty area, 1-0 for the guests. Soon after Mascia fires a powerful shot from outside that Serale parries in the dive with some difficulty. With almost 10 minutes to go Pinerolo closed the score by scoring the 5-0 goal. Pierotti tries for the flag but once again the opposing goalkeeper opposes the conclusion. It ends 5-0 for Pinerolo.

Head coach Valentina Roscini commented on the performance of the red and white girls as follows:
“We all need to improve and we are working hard after a difficult start. I’m sorry for today’s outcome, especially for the deficit and the manner of the defeat, but I can only applaud the girls because they really gave everything and in the second half they played a good game. There is work to be done but we have a very young group, where the oldest is 22 years old, and it is absolutely important to maintain a calm atmosphere.”
