Bergamo January 17, 2021 – The match played today at 2:30 pm at the Centro Sportivo Comunale “G. Facchetti” in Cologno al Serio (Bergamo) ended 1-0 in favor of the home team. The chance for the biancorosse to bring home a very important point faded in the final minutes but Orobica Calcio got the better of it after an intense and balanced match.
Despite some absences, the Grifoncelle followed up last Sunday’s excellent performance against Cittadella. A first half where some excellent soccer was seen on both sides and at 11′ Perugia came close to taking the lead with Giulia Piselli ‘s shot that hit the crossbar, however. In the second half it was the Bergamasque who accelerated but the great performance of goalkeeper Elena Urso was decisive, denying the locals a goal on four occasions.
In the 86th minute came the cold shower. On the development of a corner kick Zigic ‘s goal delivered the victory to the hosts, leaving some regret in the team of coach Luciano Mancini.

“It was a very close game,” Elena Urso reports, “and the team responded very well. We suffered a little in the second half but still it was a really good game. I am happy for my performance but also sorry for the goal we conceded, because maybe we would have deserved at least a draw.”
