Round of rest for Serie B awaiting championship finale

Perugia, April 23, 2021 – A rest day forAC Perugia Calcio Femminile ‘s Serie B girls who will return to the field on Sunday, May 2, for the challenge against Chievo Verona.

Ahead of the finale of a very difficult season, the Grifoncelle are on the hunt for individual and collective satisfaction, as confirmed by Rangana Timo, the red-and-white number 10:“As for the last matches, we have set our sights on at least one victory, for all the effort we are putting in, from the first to the last. I know it won’t be easy because we will meet teams like Tavagnacco, one of those opponents who play the best soccer but we will try our best.”

The 2000-class midfielder then went on to analyze the season, highlighting its most challenging moments with possible missed results:“I think one of the games in which we had the most regrets was the one against Cesena because we could have brought home at least a point and drawn against what was second in the standings at the time. That would have been beautiful, for all the sacrifices we made.”

Rangana then concluded with his comment on the last match played, away against Roma CF:“I think the result was a bit too round, they certainly are a compact team with important individualities but I think we were also good, especially at the tactical level. At the physical level they had something more but as far as I’m concerned it doesn’t matter that much.”

On Sunday, the very young Primavera girls will take the field for a home match against Cesena’s peers.
