Tavagnacco, December 13, 2020 – Today’s match Tavagnacco – AC Perugia, for the 11th day of the women’s Serie B championship, ended with a score of 5-0 in favor of the hosts. A difficult match for the biancorosse against a Tavagnacco that despite three matches still to be recovered, militates in the upper zone of the standings. In the first half the hosts won 2-0, scoring in the 28th minute with Tuttino and in the 39th minute with Devoto. At the end of the first half, the red and white number 28, Michela Angori, forced to stop due to a muscular problem, was replaced by Azzurra Accettoni.In the second half, the hosts impose themselves with three more goals, at 59′ again with Devoto, at 72′ again Tuttino on a free kick and at 80′ with Gianesin. The second half, however, also saw the debut of three very young players directly from Perugia’s Primavera: Elena Libera, Federica Annibaldi and Noemi Viola, the latter taking over for Aleksandra Gwiazdowska, who was also forced to stop due to a muscle problem.
“A heavy defeat, due in part to the quality of Tavagnacco’s performance, and in part to the singular situation in which our team found itself,” reports coach Luciano Mancini. “A difficult confrontation against a high level team, added to the absences in our group due to multiple reasons, led us to a heavy passive. Nothing to reproach the girls who are really giving their best, but unfortunately we are going through a difficult moment, from which we need to get out as soon as possible.”
