Perugia, Jan. 5, 2021 – For the recovery of the8th day of the women’s Serie Bchampionship, the match between Ravenna Women and AC Perugia will be played on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 2:30 p.m. in Ravenna. The away match will see Siena Stambolich, the latest important addition made by the club to strengthen the ranks of the team, take the field for the first time in the red and white jersey.
The class of 2002 Canadian midfielder arrives from Vaughan, Ontario, with great motivation and a great desire to contribute to the team.
“I don’t yet know what exactly to expect from this season with Perugia,” the soccer player reports, “but I know for sure that I will work hard and do my best to bring my contribution to the team. That between Siena and soccer is a passion that has accompanied her since her early years:“My passion started thanks to my two older brothers and my father, all soccer players I have always admired. I started playing when I was only three years old, and since then the ball and I have become inseparable.”
The very young player concludes by reporting her view of Italy and the city of Perugia:“I love Italy, I had already been here on vacation with my family, visiting magnificent places all over the country. However, I had never been to Perugia, a city that I think is truly beautiful. I love its historic center and it is really great to be able to live here!”
