Perugia, Feb. 11, 2021 – The youngsters of the AC Perugia Calcio Femminile Primavera team have returned to training after the long stop caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The red-and-whites had broken their stride on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, beating Roma CF’s peers 3-2 and getting their first win in the league. Now awaiting the girls of coach Francesco Micheli are the Bari-based Pink Sport Time for the rematch of the fourth day of the championship, which will be played on Feb. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the Stadio Comunale “Giansanti” in Collestrada.
“The chance to return to the field has given us an injection of enthusiasm,” Micheli reports, “despite the fact that the long break has led us to lose some of our polish. It won’t be easy but we will try to face the commitments ahead of us with full concentration and the right spirit. I think the key to a good restart now is to give stimuli, at the psychological level, that will lead to regaining brilliance and enthusiasm in going to face the next matches.”
