Perugia, Jan. 19, 2021 – The Umbria Regional Committee of the LND has announced the appointment of Valentina Roscini as Regional Women’s Football Manager. The appointment, strongly desired by President Luigi Repace, came at the ordinary elective assembly for the renewal of elected offices for the four-year Olympic period 2021/2024, held last January 11 at the Figc regional headquarters in Perugia.
Valentina Roscini commented on the significant award as follows:
“I am honored to have been appointed by the president and overjoyed to be part of this group that has welcomed me with open arms, qualified and motivated people with whom I will work closely to ensure that Umbria can also be an excellence in women’s soccer. I will be at the disposal of each club in order to grow the movement, increase the number of athletes and involve as many realities as possible giving them the maximum technical and organizational support.
So I thank the FIGC Umbria, in the person of President Repace, for this opportunity, Giovanni Bonato who preceded me, for the work done so far and for the support shown to me, and all the board of directors, the “team” of the Umbria Regional Committee from which I am sure I will have help, collaboration and unconditional support.”
