Genoa, Oct. 10, 2021 – Ugly start to the championship for AC Perugia Calcio Femminile, which falls on the Nazario Gambino field in Arenzano today 8-0 against Genoa.

At the start of the game, the goals remained untouched until the 26th minute where Parodi opened the scoring and, in the next minute, Bettalli signed the goal for the Genoa double. In the 35′, Campora’s goal archived the first half at 3-0.

In the second half, the red-and-whites did not find the fervor necessary to turn the tide of the match, and the hosts took advantage, again scoring in the 54th minute for Campora’s double; in the 73rd minute Tortarolo converted a free kick in the 5-0 red-and-blue, and the goals of Traverso in the 76th minute, Abate in the 85th minute and Tolomeo in the 89th minute closed the match definitively.
The Grifoncelle debacle still highlights many aspects that coach Vania Peverini will have to work on in order to continue on as positive a path as possible in a still very long championship.
